The current public chart does not apply a true-solar-time correction.
True Solar Time
True solar time is often discussed in BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu tools because birth location and clock time may not describe the same solar position. This page is educational; true-solar-time calculation is not enabled in the public release.
How it works
Longitude and timezone are part of the method discussion, not an enabled customer control.
This page documents assumptions so users can compare method settings clearly.
What the correction uses
A true-solar-time correction requires explicit, reviewed longitude, timezone, and equation-of-time rules. No such correction is applied by the current public chart.
Limitations
- The current public chart does not provide true-solar-time controls.
- Automatic birth city lookup, GPS, and IP-based location inference are not used.
- Daylight-saving and historical timezone changes are not applied automatically.
